| Seminar Objectives | -Pioneer Middle School has books falling apart (pages coming out) due to cheap glue used by publishers. Facilitator wanted to demonstrate how the Cover One machine can easily repair books |
| Work Summary | -Library Aide (Amy) was taught how to assess book spines (sewn, various thicknesses of spines that prevent use with Cover One, etc.) and how to repair. Participant received training for most of the day. Amanda received training from 1-2 |
| Assessment of Learning | -Amanda and Amy were so impressed with the Cover One machine they ordered one for their library. Additionally, since I left the CoLibri machine there from my last visit, they ordered one of those too. We did the math and this a huge cost saving step for not only the middle school but the district. Both ladies can even repair class sets held by teachers in their rooms |
