| Work Summary | -Discussed how the library space was being used and successful collaborations with teachers. This is important to note since there have been no faculty meetings this year and many teachers work in isolation. Participants approaches them with ideas which have been well received. Student behavior is better than last year since the new assistant principal follows through on issues. A book in the library was recently brought to light our of concern for its graphic content and discussion continues on how to navigate the parental complaint. Facilitator provided insight and participant has a very good selection policy and challenge policy that was provided to the superintendent earlier in the week. Had a good conversation on this topic. |
