Seminar Objectives-Provide an insight of Carol Dweck's work on Growth Mindset and the underlying beliefs people have about learning and intelligence.
Work Summary-Define and identify growth and fixed mindset
-Identify growth mindset strategies and activities to implement in the classroom
-Demonstrate growth mindset language in the classroom
-Growth mindset resources and premade lessons were provided for classroom use
Assessment of Learning-Participants learned the difference between a fixed and growth mindset
-Engages in an activity that assisted them in understanding the brain and how to build connections within the brain
-Learned how to create a growth mindset environment, to promote critical thinking, how to provide feedback and the power of mistakes
