Seminar Full Desc | This is the last Librarian CLC for 2021-2022 and attendees will be learning what library skills in-coming students at St. Bonaventure are lacking. Ann Teglund, St. Bonaventure Library Director, will share what databases the university uses and how they are selected as a resource. School librarians will be provided time to compare / contrast university databases with those through their individual school and CA BOCES. A review of Noodletools and K-12 research scaffold.. Any librarian who has a lesson for a successful research project is invited to share. |

- gain insight into what in-coming college students are lacking in relation to library skills. - evaluate resources to promote student success in meeting learning goals - brainstorm ideas for creating challenging learning experiences - explore instructional approaches, resources, and technologies to meet diverse learning needs, engage students and promote achievement - receive instruction on how to set up a high school field trip with St. Bonaventure library |
