Seminar Full DescBy including a short 15 minute routine called Number Talks, teachers can help students learn to reason mentally with numbers-a foundational skill often missed in schools. Number Talks are mentally solving and discussing mathematical understanding.
Number Talks are needed because traditionally, students learn the steps of the problem without ever understanding the reasoning behind those steps.
