Seminar Full Desc | The goal of enabling all students to achieve high academic standards is enhanced when the education community joins with healthcare providers, mental health and social service agencies to address the widespread conditions, including trauma, lack of access to critical resources and others that interefere with learning and overall wellness of students and the overall community. Join us for the first bi-annual Community and Schools Together to collaborate on these pressing issues. |

Information on Erin's law/Second Step. -Thank you! I really appreciate the virtual format and being able to participate thru zoom. -I appreciated all of the resource sharing and the information -Possibly a speaker from the WNYCPC (regarding programming, intake process, updates, etc.) -I enjoyed learning of all of the programs and resources available in the community! Thank you! -collaboration, choices about which breakouts to attend -I enjoyed this conference and learned a lot, thank you! -All of the presenters were great. They offered some really valuable information and resources for our area. -brian martin's presentation; getting to know more about what the rural schools are doing (esp. andover) -great job coordinating and putting this event together! -very informative, solution based approaches to current problems in education |
Needed Changes | -a single sheet list of contacts for each topic would be great
-a brief 5 min synopsis of presentations we missed at the end, during one session I wanted to attend both -training on gender identity/sexuality/pronouns -Anxiety- helping elementary children with coping strategies for anxiety -Something about Family court system and resources for families we see coming in raising grandchildren or nieces/nephews w/ out custody ppwk - looking for resources -More SEL for adults -I would love to talk more with Andover School about their attendance and community/parent engagement -Interventions for Anxiety. So many more kids are suffering from this since the pandemic |
