Evaluation Summary Notes | -Interaction
-Different tactics for making active assignments during lock down -Discussing various ideas that teachers find useful is beneficial -Mix up the curriculum and allow for alternative in assignments and assessments -Making students practice and share skills with anyone and creating assignments based on professionalism -Using FlipGrid, work on communication for no classroom assignments, Microsoft teams survey -Hearing that many teachers are in a very similar situation with student participation/lack of ideas that have helped engage students are useful I want to be more accurate in the number of my students that are engaging, not engaging and looked at each of my students progress individually and have decided to try having 1 on 1 zoom meetings with them to discuss their personal accomplishments/goals and perhaps discuss more openly their challenges, struggles, or something positive that they are experiencing. I hope that will allow those not engaging to feel better with some individual help, will allow students to speak more freely without others listening in, may help me to go over ways to earn extra hours toward licensing with a closer look at each student to discuss their personal needs to achieve their goals, and just to touch base at a more personal level |
