-Removed encyclopedia's from 1972 and duplicate copies of books from the 1970's, many outdated books from 1994 and earlier -Withing the high school collection were approximately 25 easy picture books that related to 2nd-4th grade curriculum and facilitator suggested adding them to the elementary collection -Approximately 20 books in Spanish, including children's picture books, were boxed for the high school Spanish teacher to review -Not only does this make the Spanish teacher aware of available resources, but also the participant realized the importance of having teacher input when it comes to weeding the collection - especially content areas |
