Seminar Short DescTeachers will learn about the contents of an Engineering is Elementary (EiE) Kit and the format they follow.
Seminar Full DescTeachers will go through the four lessons in an Engineering is Elementary (EiE) Kit. Each kit has the same format and guides to follow. Lesson 1 introduces the engineering problem through a story. Lesson 2 provides background knowledge about the specific type of engineering involved. Lesson 3 has the students explore the materials in scientific experiments which relate to the problem. Lesson 4 engages students in designing a solution using previous lessons to guide their decisions. Teachers will also learn about technology and engineering definitions which are important for students as well.
