Seminar Short Desc | This offering is designed to equip various administrators with the knowledge and skills needed to coordinate curriculum work. The focus of this three-session offering will be centered on standards implementation, evaluating curriculum units, and data-driven instruction. |
Seminar Full Desc | This offering is designed for curriculum coordinators, directors, and instructional coaches. Participants will learn a variety of strategies to engage in successful curriculum coordination. The first session will focus on standards implementation, specifically looking at the Next-Generation Math, ELA, and Science standards, as well as the Social Studies Framework. The next session will center on evaluating curriculum units, with a special emphasis on running a full scale audit of a curriculum. The last session will focus on data-driven instruction and how to implement specific processes and protocols to effectively analyze and action plan on data. |
