Seminar Short Desc | In the morning session, KAPCO representative, Kary Barth, will lead participants through hands-on repairing of printed resources. The afternoon session will focus on the state's summer reading program and public library collaboration. |
Seminar Full Desc | Protecting books from overuse extends their shelf life and effective repairs demonstrates stewardship of resources. Learn how to repair spines, tip a page, and prepare paperbacks for circulation. After lunch, attendees will hear about the state's summer reading program from a local public librarian, and will discuss how to best support this initiative. |
