-From Bee Bots and Cubelets, to several iPad applications, teachers were afforded the opportunity to see how technology can be used to enhance everyday instruction and expose students to opportunities for critical thinking and problem solving -Together, facilitator and attendee(s) review student performance data -Data was reviewed to determine if there was a positive impact on performance in ELA as a result of coding in the classroom initiative |

-Model the use of various technological tools for teachers -Create application of said tools in the current curriculum -Cross compare student performance data on ELA assessments -Determine impact of computer programming instruction on student performance date Assessment: -Through modeling the use of various tools in the instructional setting, teachers were then able to put the tech tips to action in their own classroom -Discussion as to alternate approaches that could be taken with regard to the tools highlighted also created an opportunity for an expression of one's learning -Discussion as to the impact of the coding initiative was the primary form of assessment, as was the formal review of student performance data -Generation of an outline of researched results was generated for later review by the attendee |
