Seminar Short DescCollaborative learning community for middle school and high school ELA teachers.
Seminar Full DescThe Collaborative Learning Community is designed to bring together middle
and high school English teachers from districts across the Cattaraugus-
Allegany BOCES region. The CLC will provide embedded professional
development and opportunities for collegial collaboration focused on the
following areas:
~Fostering student engagement
~Addressing the varying needs of classroom readers
~Utilizing meaningful & ongoing formative assessment
~Sharing best practices currently implemented in classrooms
~Crafting learning targets that enhance student understanding
Teachers are invited to attend as stand alone sessions or as a series of four days. Specific goals and agendas will be developed with participants for each session.
Workshop Full DescThis collaborative learning community (CLC) is designed to provide collaboration, networking, and research opportunities for middle and high school English Language Arts teachers in the CA BOCES region.

The meetings are structured around the needs, interests, and concerns of the ELA teachers who attend.
