| Work Summary | -After biefly meeting with Katie when I arrived I could tell she was a bit stressed on having to pur protective jackets on books to prepare for 11/15 book speed-dating activity with English students. I told her about the CoLibri machine and offered to run to the office to pick it up. She had a first period class and agreed that sounded like a good idea. When I returned I was able to recover about 30 books within the hour. Normally this would take a full day. Katie shared her plans for the library - programming, advocacy and weeding. The non-fiction collection is antiquated and I expect 3/4 of it to be discarded. This is due to a full weed never having been done in 30 or so years, Previous librarians were ale to update the fiction section so that's good. |
