| Work Summary | An email was shared with faculty, prior to my visit, that I would be available to offer training on how to access and use Sora. While stationed in the High School Library, I interacted with students (20 in all) and provided a short handout on how to log into Sora and use the tools to adjust font style, screen contrast, defining words, etc. I also discussed Sora with a substitute, library aide, and a CA BOCES Special Ed Teacher. Their names were not recorded because the conversations took 5-7 minutes. |
| Assessment of Learning | Adults and students were polite. Some students were familiar with Sora and gave positive feedback. Others were not aware of it. CA BOCES Spec. Ed Teacher uses audiobooks in class but wanted to know how her students could get access to eBooks when they are from other districts. I told her I could help with this. |
