Seminar Short DescThe CA BOCES Summer Technology Camp is an opportunity for educators from around the region to explore possibilities within educational technology and instructional strategies via presentations from national, regional and local speakers. This year, we have rebranded the annual conference to Summer TECCC Camp: Transforming Education via Creation, Challenge & Choice. All educators, regardless of their experience with technology, are invited to come learn, share, create and collaborate.
Seminar Full DescThe CA BOCES Summer Technology Camp is an opportunity for educators from around the region to explore possibilities within educational technology and instructional strategies via presentations from national, regional and local speakers. 1:30-2:15- Open Creation Time *
2:15-2:30- Closure/ Evaluations


August 8th:

* Creation Time" means that we plan to have breakout rooms/sessions with focused intentions, including, but not limited to, topics like:

-Learning Resources kits, etc.

There will be more information announced on the Keynote Speakers closer to the date of the event.

Assessment of Learning-Teachers will share their learning through planning, presentation, and debrief.
Evaluation Summary Notes-Participants really enjoyed the presenter, Duncan Kirkwood, and they also really enjoyed collaboration time to learn from one another.
-Summer TECCC Camp was on 8/6, 8/7, and 8/8. This applies for all three days of TECCC Camp.
Needed Changes-Participants mentioned that they would like to have more time to collaborate with one another and to learn from more teachers in the region.
-They would like more time to collaborate with their peers across the region.
Next Steps-The participants were really motivated by Duncan Kirkwood's talk about resilience.
