Achievement for students who are engaged in the classroom was reported to be 4.5% higher in reading and 13% higher in all other subjects. Teachers will walk away from this workshop with a variety of engagement strategies that can be implemented into their classrooms immediately.
Seminar Full DescIn a 2021 survey, only 45.7% of students reported being engaged with school. Achievement for students who are engaged in the classroom was reported to be 4.5% higher in reading and 13% higher in all other subjects. Even on the very best of days we have variety of learners in our classrooms. This workshop will address how students engage in learning. Teachers will be exposed to active engagement strategies across content areas and grade levels. We will explore engagement strategies that include technology, peer collaboration, and interaction. Teachers will walk away from this workshop with a variety of engagement strategies that can be implemented into their classrooms immediately.
