Seminar Full DescLeaders will learn about the new NYS Science Learning standards including the timeline for implementation and assessment. We will discuss what a science classroom should look like and sound like under the new standards, how the assessments have changed, and how to support teachers making this transition. Resources for shifting to the new standards will be highlighted and shared.
Workshop Full DescSchool and district leaders are invited to join us in this series of learning dialogues about current topics affecting schools. The topics were selected based on survey results from leaders in the region and the aim of these meetings will be to bring leaders together to learn and to consider future implications for their schools.
