Seminar Full DescBlended and Personalized instruction explores models (Station Rotation, Individual Rotation, Flipped Classroom, and Flex options) of blended learning and the strategies resources, and tools that support each model. Participants will build off their personal experience and current classroom context to determine which models and strategies best fit their instructional needs, and are the most effective in meeting the personalized needs of their students.

-Shared professional learning overview from the work of Dr. James Rickabaugh
Assessment of Learning-Participants were happy with the information shared and the conversation of how to incorporate the philosophy into their setting
-Participants were able to experience what if "felt" like to be a student and how their learning was enhanced by the modeled practice
-Unfortunately there was not time for them to practice being the teacher and having the rest of us be the student
-Hopefully they will try these strategies in their own classroom
Seminar Topics-Our classroom set up and our discussion designed to model instructional best practices
-Participants took on the role of student as a practice was being modeled then we stepped out of the teacher/student role and debriefed the activity
-Walked participants through a general overview of personalized learning and the philosophy behind it
-Discussed starting points and actionable items they can incorporate at the beginning of the school year
