-Suggestion was made to have content area teachers review the books participant was unsure about -Approximately 20 books were set aside for this purpose -Facilitator explained to participant the more involved teachers get with reviewing or offering suggestions for resources, the more likely the resources would be used -Conversation was appropriate since many new resources, dating back 10+ years appeared to have never been opened -This project allowed participant to develop skill in knowing what to look for when discarding books and what to do when unsure of relevancy |
