| Seminar Full Desc | Project WET: Water Education Today is dedicated to solving critical environmental challenges by teaching the world about water. We do this by providing hands-on, science-based water education resources to formal and non-formal educators around the world. These resources encourage responsible environmental stewardship and promote meaningful action to address environmental challenges, climate change, and sustainability.
Participants will receive a free curriculum guide to take with them. Lessons are inquiry-based, age-appropriate, and designed to teach place-based STEM education through the lens of water. Our lessons are not only academically rigorous, but they are also fun for educators and youth! Professional development is targeted for educators in unique settings. Classroom teachers can receive professional development credits and standards-aligned curriculum. Early childhood educators learn how to teach water science to their pre-K students. |
