| Seminar Objectives | Educators will analyze their current scope and sequence and curriculum maps to determine which priority standards and content have been taught to date.
Educators will identify and prioritize the remaining content and standards necessary to prepare students for upcoming NYS assessments (if applicable) and for success in the next grade level. Teachers will analyze Regents exam data to identify student strengths and gaps in achievement within their content areas. Teachers will evaluate and adjust curriculum maps to address identified areas of need, ensuring alignment with instructional practices. Teachers will develop strategies for progress monitoring and intervention to support student mastery of targeted skills and concepts. |

Identify priority standards that have been addressed so far this year. Determine gaps or remaining standards that need to be taught. Prioritize essential content for the remainder of the school year. Discuss alignment with New York State Tests and next grade expectations. Develop an instructional plan to address remaining high leverage content. Data Analysis & Interpretation: Teachers reviewed Regents exam scores, identifying three key areas of student strength and three significant gaps in achievement. Curriculum Alignment: They examined their curriculum maps to locate where the areas of need are currently addressed and how they are being taught. Instructional Planning: Teachers discussed potential instructional changes to better support student learning in the identified gap areas. Progress Monitoring Strategy: Plans were developed to monitor student understanding and intervene when mastery is not demonstrated. |
