Day 1 (6-12 ELA Teachers): Strengthening students' capacity to read, think, and write across complex texts, including vocabulary development & depth of understanding; supports the "NYSED Literacy Initiative: The Secondary Years" Day 2 (grades 5-12 Science Teachers): Supporting students with the reading comprehension, vocabulary, and written response demands Day 3 (participants from days 1 and 2) Facilitated time for designing instruction, implementing Ellin Keene's work individually and/or with regional colleagues (Ellin will not be facilitating Day 3) |
