| Work Summary | Shared with Amanda McDonald (Erie 1) about SWANK s promotional kit. She wanted me to share info with 2 YMCA workers who are planning to host a community movie night. The two workers came to see me in the afternoon and I showed them where to find templates for posters, book marks, and flyers. The Spanish teacher for 7th graders stopped by to say hello to me and Jessica S-Smith. In our friendly conversation, she shared how her students can be absentminded and forget the very basics of Spanish. I asked her if she was familiar with our beginner Spanish books in ebook and print form. She replied, no so I showed her and Jessica how to access them. I also suggested that she have her students use the print books to read easy Spanish books to kindergartners in a Reading Buddy event. The teacher really liked this idea. |
