Do you have specialized instructional equipment sitting in a closet because you ve forgotten how it works, or maybe never received training in the first place? This is a common challenge, especially with materials acquired years ago through grants (such as Eisenhower funding) or purchased for a specific curriculum that is no longer in use.

This hands-on, practical workshop is designed to turn your forgotten technology and unique tools into dynamic learning resources. Stop letting valuable materials collect dust and start leveraging the resources you already have!

Workshop Goals:

Revive Forgotten Tools: Learn the proper setup, functionality, and basic operation of the specific equipment you bring.

Troubleshooting: Get one-on-one assistance to address common issues (missing cords, software setup, calibration problems).

Practical Application: Brainstorm and discover immediate, standards-aligned ways to integrate the equipment into your current curriculum, regardless of grade level (PreK-12).

What to Bring:

Participants are strongly encouraged to bring one to three pieces of equipment they wish to learn how to use. This could include:

Older science lab probes or sensors, Hummingbirds, Lego Kits or even the Creator Bot.

Digital recording devices or cameras

CRITICAL PREPARATION STEP

To ensure the instructor is prepared for the variety of items teachers might bring (and to potentially source manuals or necessary cables), you must email the instructor with a list of your equipment.

Please email the items you plan to bring to:
