Seminar Short DescJoin us for a focused vendor day featuring Defined Learning, School Links, and Local Civics, three platforms on the Erie 1 ITCC contract, presenting tools designed to support districts in tracking student progress aligned with New York State's Portrait of a Graduate. This event is tailored for tech directors and guidance counselors seeking practical solutions for student pathway development.
Seminar Full DescIn response to district interest expressed during the recent TCIF regional forum, we are hosting a dedicated vendor day to explore technology platforms that support tracking individual student pathways aligned with New York State's Portrait of a Graduate. This event will feature presentations from three vendors: Defined Learning, School Links (School Tools), and Local Civics, all of whom are on the Erie 1 ITCC contract.
The day will begin with an overview of the goals and a scoring rubric to help participants evaluate each platform. Each vendor will present their product's capabilities, followed by Q&A and group discussion. The afternoon will conclude with a whole-group debrief to assess district interest and next steps.
This is a valuable opportunity for tech directors and guidance counselors to engage directly with vendors and collaborate on solutions that support student readiness and success.

2. Evaluate Manageable Tracking Methods
Identify and assess practical, scalable approaches for districts to manage and monitor individual student pathways within the Portrait of a Graduate framework.

3. Facilitate Collaborative Decision-Making
Engage tech directors and guidance counselors in meaningful discussions and evaluation of vendor tools to help each district assess how well each platform aligns with their unique needs.
