| Work Summary | -I asked Rachel to tell me about herfelf, her teaching experience, and her goals since she just finished her education at Fredonia. I introduced myself and my role as the SLSLS Coordinator and the role of CA BOCES and the ISS division. I shared with Rachel that her primary focus is making the library a welcoming and affirming environment and building relationships with students. As she builds relationships, she'll get to know students' reading interested and can then market reading materials to fill those interests. We reviewed some helpful resources on the LR site, including those that can translate text, read aloud, and supplement the physical library collections. Todd Catalano from Erie 1 was also present to training on Folleett Destiny and how to run statistic reports. |
