Workshop ObjectivesSession 1:
Participants will engage in reflection and dialogue regarding Cultural Proficiency and its application to their personal and professional lives as educators.
Participants will gain a working knowledge of the Cultural Proficiency Framework and explore possibilities for future training and/or application of learning strategies and content covered in this session with their respective rural districts and schools.

Session 2:
Participants will engage in culturally proficient learning strategies as they apply the Essential Elements of Cultural Proficiency as actions for increased awareness and change towards increased equity, access, and inclusion.

Participants will gain a working knowledge of the Cultural Proficiency model for Equity Action Planning and plan for their delivery of learning strategies and content covered in this session with their respective districts and schools for excellence with equity.
