Work Summary | -Facilitator walked everyone through the CRSE framework and provided time for partner conversations and group discussion. The conversation was sidetracked a bit by a discussion about the MS library redesign. The K-12 scaffold of research skills was reviewed and discussion was turned to the typing program used and who teaches typing to students. Other conversations led to changes in libraries and assigned duties. The scaffold is just a guide for discussion between librarians and teachers (Curriculum Coordinators, too) about who is teaching what and when. As a wrap-up I shared Project Look Sharp's website and its free lessons on media literacy for grades K-12 |
Assessment of Learning | -Lots of discussion took place, clarifying questions were asked, participants took notes |
