Seminar Short DescSchool district leaders are invited to a book-study centered on Cultural Competency Now by Vernita Mayfield. Four sessions will build on each other provide fun activities and rich discussions as a catalyst for what leaders can do in their district.
Seminar Full DescSchool leaders will learn how to be the catalyst for facilitating discussions around bias, racism, and privilege in their schools. Sessions will include discussions on establishing a safe environment for professional conversations, setting goals for cultural competency, reviewing school data, and creating a plan for cultural competency within one's school district.
