Seminar Short DescIn the morning session, KAPCO representative, Kary Barth, will lead participants through hands-on repairing of printed resources. The afternoon session will focus on the state's summer reading program and public library collaboration.
Seminar Full DescProtecting books from overuse extends their shelf life and effective repairs demonstrates stewardship of resources. Learn how to repair spines, tip a page, and prepare paperbacks for circulation. After lunch, attendees will hear about the state's summer reading program from a local public librarian, and will discuss how to best support this initiative.
