Seminar Short DescThis workshop will allow teachers to collaborate on the development of a curriculum unit centered on media and news literacy.
Seminar Full DescThe purpose of this session is to take information from our Fake News workshop and apply it into the actual development of a Fake News unit. The unit will be designed to support ELA and Social Studies curriculum needs. Potential lessons of study would center on the challenges of fake news, media/political bias, quality journalism, fake news as a political tool, and more.
