Seminar Short DescThis offering is open to all new teachers in the CA BOCES region and is intended to provide new professionals with tools and techniques for first-year instructional and professional practice.
Seminar Full DescCalling all new teachers! This offering is open to teachers in their first year experience, supporting them in their instructional and professional practice. Through the CLC experience, teachers will receive a bevy of tools and techniques associated with engagement, management, planning, assessment, and differentiation. Each session will provide strategies within those focuses with learning centered around Teaching Standards I-VII. As an added element, new teachers will receive insight and feedback from former Teacher Academy participants and gain advice on how to manage their first years as a professional in education.
